2 cups almond flour (fine, blanched)
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder (optional but 🔥)
1 cup shredded mozzarella (or cheddar for a sharper vibe)
½ cup sour cream (full fat)
1 large egg
½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
🥣 Instructions
Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Melt butter and pour it into an 8×8 baking dish. Tilt to coat the bottom evenly.
In a bowl, mix almond flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
Stir in cheese, sour cream, and egg until a thick batter forms.
Scoop/spread batter directly into the butter (don’t mix it in—let it swim 😏).
Lightly score the dough into 9 squares.
Bake 22–25 minutes, until golden on top and edges are crispy.
Optional but recommended: broil 1–2 minutes for extra browning.
