- 2 tablespoons tapioca starch (optional, helps improve texture)
- Flax egg made with 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed and 3 tablespoons water
(rest for 5 minutes before use)
- A small pinch of turmeric (optional, for a natural yellow tone)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavor
- A pinch of salt
Whipped Topping:
- 1/2 cup aquafaba (chickpea liquid)
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2 tablespoons sweetener of choice (such as erythritol)
